Union Jack holds an 40% interest in PEDL180 and PEDL182 located in Lincolnshire, on the Western margin of the Humber Basin and is on trend with the producing Crosby Warren oil field and the Brigg-1 oil discovery, situated to the immediate northwest and southeast of the licence respectively.

Wressle was discovered in 2014 by the Wressle-1 conventional exploration well, intersecting three productive horizons, (i) Penistone Flags; (ii) Wingfield Flags; and (iii) Ashover Grit, which all returned oil with a gravity of 39-40º API along with up to 456 thousand cubic feet of gas per day.

Operations to recomplete the well and reperforate the Ashover Grit reservoir interval have been completed successfully, safely and on schedule.

Following the re-perforation and its successful communication with the Ashover Grit reservoir interval, free-flow of oil has commenced and the well has been placed on test production.

Produced oil is being transported by road tanker to the Phillips 66 Humber refinery sold under existing sales contracts.

The Broughton North Prospect is located within PEDL182 and has been generated primarily from a high-quality 3D seismic data set acquired during 2012. This exercise provided detailed structural data and enabled a bottom-hole target location to be identified for the Broughton North Prospect.
